Description
1740 Marquis de Sade is a leather-amber men's fragrance from Histoires de Parfums, released in 2000. The opening combines artemisia and bergamot; patchouli, cardamom and coriander build the heart; and immortelle, leather, French labdanum, elemi resin, birch and vanilla hold the base. It is herbal-leathery with a smoky birch foundation — dark and rich. Longevity is strong.
