In Red is a floral-woody women's fragrance from Armand Basi, released in 2003 and the Spanish brand's best-known scent. A spicy citrus opening of bergamot, ginger, mandarin and cardamom moves into a dense floral heart of lily, jasmine, rose, peony, violet leaf, pink pepper and black currant, while woody notes, oakmoss, white musk, rosewood, amber, vanilla and praline hold the base. It is bright, spicy-floral and easy to recognise — suited to mid-season weather and evening wear. Longevity is good and the trail is noticeable.
