Bal D`Afrique

Bal d'Afrique is a woody-floral unisex fragrance from Byredo, released in 2009 and inspired by 1920s Paris and its fascination with African culture. The opening combines bergamot, African marigold and buchu, violet and cyclamen build the heart, and vetiver and cedar hold the base. It is dry, earthy and powdery-violet over a bright citrus start — a versatile option for everyday wear in any season. Longevity is moderate and the trail is restrained and elegant. Byredo is a Swedish niche house founded by Ben Gorham in Stockholm in 2006.
