Blanche

Blanche is a floral-woody women's fragrance from Byredo, released in 2009 and built around the idea of absolute cleanliness. The opening combines aldehydes, rose and pink pepper, peony, violet and African orange flower build the heart, and musk, sandalwood and woody notes hold the base. It is soapy-clean, aldehydic and powdery — evocative of laundered white linen, and effective at the office and for everyday wear. Longevity is moderate and the trail sits close to the skin. Byredo is a Swedish niche house founded by Ben Gorham in Stockholm in 2006.
