Desert Dawn is a woody unisex fragrance from Byredo, released in 2024. The opening combines rose petals and cardamom, sandalwood, cedarwood and carrot seeds build the heart, and musk, papyrus, vetiver and a silk note hold the base. It is dry, powdery-woody and very restrained with a light spicy facet — suited to everyday wear in any season. The trail is soft and close to the skin, with good longevity. Byredo is a Swedish niche house founded by Ben Gorham in Stockholm in 2006.
