Allure Homme is an amber-woody men's fragrance from Chanel, released in 1999. The opening combines lemon, peach, ginger, mandarin, lavender and bergamot; pepper, cedar, patchouli, vetiver, jasmine, rose, gardenia and anise build the heart; and vanilla, tonka bean, sandalwood, coconut, amber, benzoin, musk, leather and oakmoss hold the base. It is warm and spicy-vanillic yet restrained — a versatile option for the office and for evening wear in cooler weather. Longevity is good and the trail is powdery. Chanel is a French house founded by Gabrielle Chanel, with a perfume division dating to 1921.
