Citizen X is a unisex fragrance from the niche house Ex Nihilo, inspired by a rooftop gathering in Paris. Mastic tree and white pepper open the scent, iris absolute forms the heart, and incense, ambery woods and musk settle at the base. The fresh-spicy opening gives way to a deep woody-amber foundation, well suited to evening wear in cooler weather. The fragrance was composed by perfumer Yann Vasnier and belongs to Ex Nihilo's Iconoclaste collection.
