The opening combines lavender, water notes, basil, geranium and marigold; tobacco, hay, clary sage, a moepel accord and bran build the heart; and sandalwood, cypress, musk, amber and labdanum hold the base. It is herbal and dry with a tobacco-and-hay warmth — a restrained, grown-up fougère for cooler weather. Longevity is strong.
