Velvet Black Patchouli is a woody-gourmand unisex fragrance from Dolce & Gabbana, released in 2021 within the niche Velvet line. The opening combines papyrus, blood orange and davana, patchouli, clary sage and coriander build the heart, and caramel, vanilla and tonka bean hold the base. It is earthy-patchouli with a caramel sweetness — dry and dessert-like at once, for cooler weather and evening wear. Longevity is strong.
