Description
Egoiste is a woody-amber men's fragrance from Chanel, released in 1990 and a classic of its decade. The opening combines Brazilian rosewood, coriander, Sicilian mandarin and mahogany; cinnamon, damask rose and carnation build the heart; and sandalwood, tobacco, vanilla, leather, amber and ambrette hold the base. It is dense and spicy-woody with a tobacco warmth — made for cold weather and evening wear. Longevity is strong and the trail is rich and easy to recognise.
