Empire is a floral-woody unisex fragrance from Boadicea the Victorious, released in 2016. A fruity opening of peach, plum, Sicilian mandarin, pink pepper and Sicilian bergamot moves into a dense floral heart of gardenia, magnolia, May rose and Arabian jasmine, while raspberry, patchouli, white musk, vanilla, sandalwood, amber and vetiver hold the base. It is fruity-floral over a powdery musk foundation — effective in mid-season weather and for evening wear. Longevity is strong. Boadicea the Victorious is a British niche house named after the Iceni queen Boudica.
