Encre Noire is a woody men's fragrance from Lalique, released in 2006. The composition is deliberately spare: cypress in the opening, vetiver in the heart, cashmere wood and musk at the base. It is darkly earthy and dry — vetiver unadorned, one of the most distinctive in the genre. For cooler weather; longevity is strong.
