Velvet Iris is a woody-leather unisex fragrance from Essential Parfums, released in 2025. The opening combines agathosma, pink pepper and tamarind; orris root, iris, galbanum and mastic build the heart; and Saffiano leather, sandalwood and cistus hold the base. It is powdery-iris with a green bitterness over a dry leather foundation — restrained and elegant. For cooler weather; longevity is good.
