Gris Charnel is a woody-amber unisex fragrance from BDK Parfums, released in 2019. The composition is spare: cardamom, fig and black tea in the opening, iris and Bourbon vetiver in the heart, sandalwood and tonka bean at the base. It is tea-and-fig with a powdery iris over a creamy sandalwood foundation — restrained, warm and highly recognisable. Longevity is strong.
