Juniper Sling is a woody-leather unisex fragrance from Penhaligon's, released in 2011 and inspired by the gin sling. The opening combines juniper berries, orange, angelica and cinnamon; pepper, cardamom, leather and orris root build the heart; and vetiver, sugar, cherry and amber hold the base. It is juniper-spicy over a dry leather foundation — sharp, sober and not at all sweet despite the sugar in the formula. Longevity is good.
