Monarch

Monarch is a leather-amber unisex fragrance from Boadicea the Victorious, released in 2015. The opening combines red berries, wormwood, black tea, grapefruit and bergamot; cardamom, rose, pink pepper, cinnamon, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and freesia unfold in the heart; and leather, oud, tonka bean, frankincense, cedar, patchouli, labdanum, oakmoss and vanilla hold the base. It is complex and spicy-leathery with a smoky drydown — one for cold weather and evening wear. Longevity is very strong. Boadicea the Victorious is a British niche house named after the Iceni queen Boudica.
