Description
Purpose is a woody-amber unisex fragrance from Amouage, released in 2023 within the Odyssey collection. A sharp spicy start of olibanum, black and pink pepper, pimento and bergamot moves into a dry heart of vetiver, papyrus, sandalwood and rose, while akigalawood, suede and saffron hold the base. It is dry, earthy and lightly leathery with a noticeable oud facet — suited to cooler weather and evening wear. Longevity is very strong. Amouage is an Omani perfume house founded in 1983.
