Velvet Orchid is a floral-amber women's fragrance from Tom Ford, released in 2014. The opening combines rum, honey, mandarin and bergamot; black orchid, jasmine, heliotrope, hyacinth, rose oil and narcissus fill the heart; and vanilla, myrrh, suede, sandalwood, Peru balsam and labdanum hold the base. It is honeyed-floral over a warm powdery foundation — rich and evening-oriented. Longevity is strong.
