XJ 1861 Naxos is a gourmand-amber unisex fragrance from Xerjoff, released in 2015 and one of the house's best-known launches. The composition is spare: lavender, bergamot and lemon in the opening, honey, cinnamon, cashmeran and jasmine sambac in the heart, tobacco leaf, vanilla and tonka bean at the base. It is honeyed-tobacco over a vanilla foundation — warm and instantly recognisable. Longevity is very strong.
